Union warns callers not to use the general law-enforcement number for jail information. The jail opened in 1979, has a maximum capacity of 37, and reports about 1,200 bookings each year. Wallowa's agreement reserves at least six spaces and permits up to eight Wallowa prisoners at once.

What OSP Releases About Arrests
An OSP Open Record on another person costs $33 and requires the subject's name, date of birth, and current or last known mailing address. It discloses Oregon convictions and arrests less than one year old for which no acquittal or dismissal has been reported. OSP notifies the subject and waits 14 days so the subject can challenge accuracy. It is not an instant result and is not a complete national record.
A person seeking their own complete Oregon identity-based history must use the separate fingerprint Copy of Own Record. Rolled prints and an FD-258 card are mailed with the form and $33 payment.
